Spring Office Decor: My Home Office & Lounge Refresh

Believe it or not, it is that time of year again. Time to look for new and exciting spring office decorating ideas and start curating a collection of spring office decor that will give your space a fresh new look just in time for this fresh new season to roll in.

Whether you are a spring office decor ideas aficionado or still a newbie, you will love what I have in store for you today.

And not to be outdone by the typical desk-only office space alone, I am sharing some spring decorating ideas for the living room or lounge area as I call it as well. We’ll just have to see which look you like better.

Over on my Instagram, I shared a snippet of my latest spring decor ideas for an office and a few changes I made in my own home office recently.

Remember that white sofa that was in my family room? It is now here. I wanted more of a part-lounge, part-work vibe in this space, which is one of my favorite spring living room ideas I came up with.

When my girlfriends come over, we lounge here on the sofa or my office chair, and we just sit here with a glass of wine and catch up.

Since moving the credenza that was here, I felt like something was missing from the wall lighting, but I didn't want to pay for an electrician to come and install the power just yet.

I wanted to make sure that I loved it first. I had these beautiful wall sconces for years and they are from Lamps Plus. You may remember them being in my guest bathroom once upon a time.

While the husband was measuring the center of the wall for the placement, all I needed was the perfect solution to a temporary fix.

These are LED battery backup light bulbs that you can keep in your powered lamp to charge and when the lights are turned on, they will work.

This coffee table is from Homary. Trust me, they have amazing stuff. It was originally in the sitting area of our bedroom, but it looks just as good here.

That's why I love their pieces. They're so versatile.

My business is expanding, and I'm making some big changes to my brand. I created this sitting area for clients to sit and write. This is a temporary solution for now to save on overhead because I have to secure those coins.

My credenza is on the other side of the room near this window that brings in plenty of sunlight during the day.

Decor pieces were removed and stationary storage and supplies were added.

Keeping things clean and simple, I've added this planter that's from the At Home store, but I'm not sure if they still sell it or not because I've had it for a while.

I actually have two, and they used to reside on our dining table.

I'm using one here on the coffee table, and I've added these bumpers to protect the tabletop.

You can definitely recreate this look with your eyes closed. It is that easy.

Because this planter is so deep, I'm adding craft paper so I don't have to use much decorative filling.

It's a little trick I shared years ago.

Foam moss balls and succulents were added inside and now I’m done.

If you are wondering where I do my crafting, it is here on this Norden Gateleg table that is from IKEA.

It works like a charm you guys.

In fact, it works even better now because my husband added castor wheels for easy transportation.

Lastly, I treated myself to a new work bag. I've been traveling a lot these days, and I'll be traveling even more in the days to come, so I needed a bigger bag.

In fact, this bag is bigger than my other one. No kidding! My entire office can fit inside this bag, and it's from Coach.
