Styling Spring Decor in My Entryway, Home Office & Guest Bathroom

We will continue our spring decorating series with some updates to my spring entryway decor. I will show you how I updated that and the new piece I added to that space that just transformed it.

We'll be decorating my office and a little sneak peek into our guest bathroom, which will be my next project.

Cleaning and prepping the entryway area

Cleaning and prep

So, starting with my entryway and console table, I'll clean this beautiful mirror, the newest addition to this space, next to the lamp; it's the 43-inch round mirror from IKEA. I'm so in love with it.

Entryway decor

I am moving on to my florals.

Arranging florals

So my thing is, I love adding water because it makes it look a lot more realistic, and I haven't had any issues with it damaging the stems.

Maybe sometimes I'll see some corrosion because there's metal inside, but nothing crazy, maybe just a little dot.

The flowers are from Michaels. I haven't been able to find them online for some reason.

Adding a vase on top of books

Adding a vase and books

Moving on to next to the vase, I like to keep things very minimal, so I went ahead and added these two books. I like to flip them, so there's not a lot of text going on.

On top, I added this vase. I'll be going today to an antique event, so I'll be picking more of these pieces up if I do run into any.

Runner-style rug
Books and a candle

Right next to it, I want to add more books and this candle, which looks so cute.

So, moving on to this rug. This one I found at HomeGoods. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any replicas of it. It moves when I like to put my foot on it, and I have an issue when my kids or our dogs run through it; I'm constantly fixing it.

So I found some anti-slip underlay from IKEA, and it's a thing that you put under the rug. It seriously made it stick to the floor.

Matching ottomans

So then, the final piece that just brought this space together is these ottomans from Target. I found these at the Swap Meet for $20. This is the space, and I'm so in love with it.

Empty office

Office decor

Now, moving on to my office. So here is a blank slate with just an office chair. These shelvings are somewhat decorated. The one on the right still hasn't been decorated because I don't have that much decor. Eventually, once I start collecting things, they'll be added there.

Adding florals into a vase

What I wanted to do for the space was add some florals.

So once again, I went in with this beautiful clear vase. These are from Hobby Lobby, and I added these curly stems, which I purchased last year from Hobby Lobby as well.

Mortar and pestle bowl with sage

On the other side, it's just this little mortar and pestle bowl, and I added some sage to it.

Checkerboard with a magnifying glass

For my shelving, I like to add texture. So I found this checkerboard at the thrift store and added a magnifying glass on top.

I like to style in twos and ones.

Decorating in 1s and 2s

So, one shelf will have two different things styled, and then on the top one, It'll be one, and then it'll alternate, so 2-1-2-1-2-1 up.

As you can see, the books are the one, and then at the bottom, there is the garland and the vase, and that's two, so it just gives it symmetry and doesn't make it look too cluttered.

Home office decorated for spring

That is everything that I did for my office, plus the rug under the table.

I still wanted to share it with you because it is such a beautiful space for me. The stems just brought it together. I think it was like the perfect touch to the space.

Cleaning the guest bathroom

Guest bathroom

So, moving on to the guest bathroom, this space will be transformed within the next couple of weeks. I wanted to do a little bit of styling, so if you don't want to do any makeovers, you're like renting a place or what or whatnot, I thought this would be a really nice, small snippet of the video so you guys can get some ideas.

Black vase with dried flowers

I just added this black vase from Hobby Lobby, and the dried flowers are also from Hobby Lobby. So I added those two together in the corner and moved to the opposite side.

Bathroom decorated for spring

I added this little tray from Target and the candle. This little napkin is from IKEA, which I hung on the cabinet front, and that's it.

As you can see, a bunch of stuff is happening in the background. There's a damaged wall, but everything's going to get repaired. I wanted to give you guys a little sneak peek of this room before it's entirely made over.
