Easter Table Setting!!!

Here in the midwest, it looks more like winter! I woke up this morning to snow! Can you believe it! Last night when taking out Tucker the snow was coming down so hard! I was just shocked when I walked outside. My thoughts were on my Easter Table Setting! How should I set the table for spring when it was a winter wonderland!

Yesterday It was almost 70 degrees! I thought about uncovering my patio furniture! Thinking about what my son said, it’s been so nice I hardly think we’ll get more snow! Oh boy was he wrong, he spoke too soon!

Even though we have snow Easter is this Sunday I’m really craving spring, so my table will look like spring!

These are the items I start with to set my table, china, silverware, stemware, napkins, napkins holders, flowers

This year it will be a small get together. My husband, myself, and three of our children will be here for our brunch. Our son who is living in Seattle will join us by zoom.

I’m adding spring touches to our table, it will be an Easter Table Setting!

Flowers alway say spring to me! Bunnies are a favorite of mine, and I have two cute little bunnies to add to my table arrangement!

The flowers I had from previous floral arraingments.

I’m using a basket for this easter table setting because I can remove it easily when we all sit down to eat. By doing this it allows for more room on the table after it’s removed… and conversation is also a little easier.

Do you see the cute little bunnies!

I added two little bunnies to the basket and placed flowers all around t. Adding some natural paper grass helps for a fill-in.

Keeping with my spring theme, I added these cute little bird napkin holders. Birds speak spring to me! I also added a paper floral napkin to my cloth napkins.

Wanting more of a spring look it’s what I had on hand, I think it gives my table that spring look!

I’m all about using what I have!

Using a table cloth for my setting gives a little elegance to the table. I balanced it with a more relaxed feel by using my wicker placemats.

The cute little carrot plates are paper, shhh! I had ordered very cute bunnies plates and they haven’t arrived yet, so I’ll use these instead. They are so cute, don’t you think so!

Using china is so special on the holidays! I really like to use my china dishes all the time. My thoughts are dishes are too pretty not to use every day!

The silverware is old. I’ve had this set for so many years, it’s such a heavy solid set.

The stem wearm is a set I bought at a tag sale! One of my Thrifty deals! Oh and the basket I’m using as our centerpiece was found at a thrift store for $5.00

I love to mix pieces, china, wicker, crystal, linen, and porcelain! This year adding a litte paper products too! It makes for a pretty interesting table setting!

I’ll still fill in the table with salt and pepper shakers, platers for food, make sure to leave room for these items

The porcelain egg plate was also a tag sale find. I found it so many years ago.

The cute little carrot plates I bought at the dollar store! 10 plates for $1.00! When your plates don’t arrive on time a gal has to do what a gal can do! They’re so cute and they brighten up the table they will work for a fill in!

My table setting!

Using items I had from home, dollar store finds, along with thrift store buys gave me a pretty easter table setting on a budget!

I can hardly wait to have my family over for our favorite brunch! We’ll enjoy church together, and after church, we’ll all sit down together to have a meal. Just spending time with each other sharing this special day, the Lord’s day, is such a blessing!

I hope you enjoy your Easter Sunday however you’er celebrating and may it be a blessing!

Happy Easter!

Scary, but I already have your dinnerware and the same chargers/placemats! I got my set from Macy’s and I love it! Unfortunately it has a tendency to chip or crack! Be careful in the microwave…I had a microcrack expand heating soup and the bowl exploded in my hand as I set the bowl on the counter! So just letting you know and others who have this dinnerware to be careful! But I love your ideas!
