People are getting away from that cookie-cutter, being-like-everyone-else, all-white-everything look. Based on that, I am sharing the top 10 home paint colors for 2023 today.

1. Galapagos Turquoise by Benjamin Moore
You'll notice many colors from this list are from a jewel-toned color theme, and that is true for the first paint color I'm going to share with you, which is Galapagos Turquoise. This dark teal perfect mix of blue and green, creates a really rich turquoise color, just as the name implies.
This color looks great on cabinets, maybe in the kitchen or laundry room, or you could even paint an entire bathroom, maybe like a small powder room, in this bright blue color to give it an elevated look. Benjamin Moore describes this color as a rich, attractive teal that mirrors the glistening depths of the ocean waters.
2. October Mist by Benjamin Moore
This was Benjamin Moore's color of the year for 2022 for a good reason. It is a pretty pale green color that gives a relaxing vibe; you can use it anywhere in your home. You could paint an entire room this color or use it as an accent wall or on kitchen or bathroom cabinets.
October Mist is still trending for 2023; as you'll see, a lot of greens are popular this year in the paint world. This one is a warm, welcoming, soft green color that is just beautiful.
3. Evergreen Fog by Sherwin-Williams
As more people are moving away from the all-gray everything, green tones are coming in. So if you don't want to go too bold with one of the rich jewel-toned colors, try Evergreen Fog. It'll give you that warm, neutral gray color, but with a green undertone that is just really pretty.
4. Big Cypress by PPG Paints
This is such a warm and fun pink, almost coral, color. It brings in that 60s and 70s vibe that is trending. I love how PPG Paints describes this color as a warm, huggable room. How cute is that?
5. Urbane Bronze or by Sherwin-Williams
This dark warm charcoal color can sometimes look slightly brown in certain light. It's one of the darkest non-black colors you can find, with an LRV (Light Reflectance Value) of only 8. Incorporate this trending paint color on cabinets. Think kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room.
Sherwin-Williams describes this rich color as rooted in nature. This brownish-gray evokes down-to-earth tranquility and subtle sophistication that is hard to beat.
6. Cut the Mustard by Sherwin Williams
This fun color is a bold and vibrant yellow. Cut the Mustard would work best as a feature wall, but you might get away with painting all the walls in this bright yellow if it's a small powder room. It would also look really good on cabinets or furniture pieces. This deep amber hue instantly reminds me of the Topaz birthstone for November.
7. Canyon Dust by Behr
This soft, dusty, coral-pink color fits the trend of warm tones. Try this paint color in one of your kids' or laundry rooms. It would also be a pretty color as an accent wall, maybe in a bedroom or even a home office.
8. Aegean Teal by Benjamin Moore
This is a pretty creamy blue-teal color, but it's got some gray undertones that bring it a little bit back down to earth. Aegean Teal is not bold or vibrant, but it still provides a great pop of color. This shade looks great on exterior doors, as an accent wall, or even on kitchen cabinets.

This beautiful burgundy is an excellent option if you're looking for something bold and dark in the red paint color family. Sherwin-Williams describes it as a deeply saturated violet with warm red undertones. It appears almost brown in some lights and exudes a dark luster, suggesting mystery and romance.
Carnelian would be good in a bedroom, and this color would also be pretty in a bathroom, especially a powder room or guest bath. It could be really fun on cabinets as well.
Bonus: Grape Juice by Benjamin Moore
OK, I have a bonus paint color for you. Grape Juice is not only delicious, but evokes nostalgic memories of being a kid, and grape juice is the best juice out there. Again, This is a bold, purple, burgundy color with more purple undertones as opposed to the red from the Carnelian I just shared.
This is a fun color to incorporate, especially if you want to go pretty trendy with some bold, bright jewel-tone colors this year. Benjamin Moore even says it brings to mind a lush, full-bodied wine. I love how it looks as an accent color but also on walls as well.
