Spring Home Tour: How to Refresh Your Home For the Season

Are you ready for some fresh spring decorating ideas? Let’s take a spring home tour of my beautifully transformed space where I’ll share with you how I brought it to life. I hope you’re ready to pick up some new spring decor ideas to revamp your own home this season!

Front door

I found this really funny mat and thought it would be the perfect addition for spring. Purple is my favorite color and I found this beautiful wreath at Grandin Road.

Entry

We use the two front door entry console tables a lot for shoes, bags, keys, etc. So they are always very lightly styled. This time, I added touches of spring that say hello and welcome.

Artwork

The artwork above one of the console tables was specially created by my oldest daughter. I asked her to make some ferns that would go well with all of my decor and this is what she came up with.

Wreaths

Remember that door wreaths do not always need to be used just for your exterior doors. I like to add evergreen wreaths inside the front door entry to feel warm and welcoming.

Family room

I incorporated simple touches of spring in the family room by adding white and warm tones in the built-ins and a couple of pops of color on the ottoman in the middle of the room and the sofa.

Sofa styling

I always suggest mixing patterns and textures. When picking out your pillows, pick one or two of them that feature somewhat or some variation of the same color like the grays and blues you see here. The throw pillows tie in a few colors across all of the seating, including subtle pinks, light blues, and some grays.

Kitchen

Here’s a quick view of my kitchen with some little spring touches.

Backyard

Here’s a quick view of my outdoor room with some additional spring touches, like pillows and lots of candles. I love the grass runner on the table!

Spring home tour

See how you don’t need to go overboard with spring decor as long as the touches are thoughtful. I achieved this spring look mostly with a few pieces of decor and pillows.
