Spring Bedroom Ideas For a Calm & Cozy Space

I'm going to be decorating our bedroom today, and I am very excited because I found a lot of really neat spring bedroom ideas to get me started.

I can’t wait to see how these spring bedroom decorating ideas translate into my actual space. Let’s jump right into creating a spring bedroom and see how it turns out.

I do want to talk about the shiplap first because I know I'm going to get a lot of questions on that. That's one of the newest things in our bedroom, and my most asked question is what color paint I used for this. I actually used Revere Pewter Revere by Benjamin Moore.

I am planning on doing an accent wall in here as well, either wall molding or extending the shiplap in this direction, but in a different color. I'm still trying to figure that out. I feel like it's lacking a little bit. I think that wall molding is going to be the way to go because shiplap is very expensive and we use real pine wood for this, so it adds up a lot.

We grabbed the shiplap from Home Depot, I believe, and it's real pine wood. And then my husband just cut it to length. It's a little bit unfinished at the top as you can see.

We still need to add a piece of trim, but other than that, it turned out beautifully. It does have some natural texture to it, but I feel like that kind of adds to that rustic look that I was going for. That is what the shiplap looks like.

I am so excited to start decorating this bedroom with the spring bedroom decor ideas I found. This is what it looks like right now with nothing in it. I like to keep things really neutral because if I do want to add color, It's super easy to do so, and it flows with everything.

We're going to be adding this beautiful frame that I purchased from Target right above my bed.

I love how minimal it is, and the size is amazing.

I went ahead and hung that right above the bed, and it looks so beautiful. I might end up staining the wood to a darker one just to add a little bit of contrast because it is a little too beige in here, but I do really like the way it looks already.

Moving on to the bedding, I think the same thing. I love to keep it neutral. But if I do want to add a little bit more spring vibes to it eventually, I can add some color easily.

I am styling the European Linen Duvet and Sheet Set in the color sand from Quince.

I'm also going to be styling the European Linen Cotton Stitch Quilt. I absolutely love how soft it feels and the quality is immaculate.

During this winter-to-spring transition, I usually love to keep the quilt at the foot of the bed, that way if it gets too cold at night, we're able to pull it up and add some extra warmth.

I went ahead and added these beautiful brown striped throw pillows, these beautiful linen ones right in front, and then a floral print, just to kind of add that spring vibe into the home.

And then over to the right side, I added a set of books and then this beautiful vintage vase that I found at The Great Junk Hunt. I also added these beautiful faux poppies that look so realistic from Emmy and Avery Market.

Moving on to the other nightstand, this is actually my side, and I like to keep it pretty clean because a lot of stuff stacks up over here. So I just added a marble tray and then my Kindle because I do have a book that I'm reading right now.

Then I added this little trinket. I like to put my rings in here.

Here is the finished look.

Last but not least to tie the whole thing up, I went ahead and vacuumed the rug to make sure that it was nice and clean. I absolutely love the way this room looks. And honestly, the only thing that I would change in here is probably the color of my bedding.

I also just found this gorgeous ottoman (or similar) from Facebook Marketplace. I absolutely love it.

I believe it is not a dupe but an actual one from Lulu and Georgia, so that was a really good score

And then last but not least once again, I went ahead and cleaned up my arched mirror over here. There's actually one that's wider that I wasn't aware of but honestly, if it were me and I were to buy it again, I'd buy the bigger one this time. I really love this mirror.

That is basically everything for this bedroom. I absolutely love the way it turned out.
