If you're anything like me, maintaining a neat and organized home is a perpetual goal. No matter how stunning the paint colors, furniture, or designs may be, they can't overshadow the impact of a disorderly and cluttered space. As we step into 2024, there's no better time than the present to embark on the journey of creating the harmonious home you've always envisioned. I've put together a list of items that have been my go-to companions over the years, and I'm confident they'll work wonders for you too. While there may not be any groundbreaking innovations here, sometimes it's the tried-and-true essentials that make all the difference. Consider this your gentle nudge to finally curate a space that brings you joy every single day – because you deserve it.

1. Woven Baskets

Woven baskets are not just for storing random odds and ends; they are a statement piece that effortlessly combines functionality with style. Use them to corral throw blankets in the living room or to organize toys in the playroom. The natural texture and warm tones of woven baskets bring a touch of bohemian charm to any space.

2. Vintage Crates & Baskets

Give your home a nostalgic touch with vintage crates. These versatile storage items are perfect for organizing books, magazines, or even acting as a unique display shelf. The weathered look adds character to your space, telling a story of days gone by. Whether you find them at a flea market or repurpose old wooden crates, their timeless appeal will never go out of style.

3. Glass Jars

Transform your kitchen into a culinary haven with the help of glass jars. Not only do they keep ingredients fresh, but they also provide a visual feast for the eyes. From pasta to colorful spices, the transparent elegance of glass jars turns your pantry into a work of art. Arrange them neatly on open shelves, and you'll have a storage solution that's both practical and aesthetically pleasing. I also love using glass jars in the bathroom.

Who says storage has to be confined to shelves and cabinets? Enter decorative hooks – the unsung heroes of vertical storage. Hang your favorite hats, scarves, or even kitchen utensils on these beauties. With a plethora of designs available, you can turn any empty wall into a gallery of functional art. It's a simple yet effective way to add personality to your space.

I hate baskets, I have many of them and all they do is collect stuff. It is hard to make them look good when filled with things. They are magnets for everything .

Love using baskets and other containers to properly organize vs. having it all displayed looking messy.
