Cozy Fall Vignettes: 4 Simple Ideas to Warm Up Your Home
Today, I’m super excited to share with you four fall vignettes I’ve put together, and I hope they inspire you to create your own cozy, inviting spaces for the season. For me, vignettes are more than just grouping a few items together on a table—they’re about creating a feeling of warmth and making your home feel welcoming.
Table of contents
1. Fall Entryway Vignette
One of my favorite spots to create a fall vignette is in the entryway. It’s the first place guests see when they arrive, so it sets the tone for your home. I love starting with fall staples like pumpkins, floral gourds, and candles.
Even with just a few of these elements, you’re already on your way to creating a stunning display.
For this vignette, I included an inspired piece from Mackenzie-Childs. It’s a black-and-cream box that I normally use to store our remote controls, but for fall, I took the top off and filled it with small pumpkins—double duty décor!
To add a rustic touch, I used silver candle holders I found at HomeGoods. These will look just as great on a coffee table, dining table, or even on a fireplace.
2. Sofa Table Vignette
Behind our sofa, I created another vignette that’s both thrifty and chic. I used a $2 pumpkin I found as the inspiration for a glam fall look.
I paired it with some blingy candle votives I’ve had for about three years—also from HomeGoods.
At night, I can pop in some LED candles to add a cozy ambiance. Grouping three crystal candle holders together makes for a stunning, eclectic candle display that blends old-world charm with a timeless look that’s always trending.
I love filling in gaps with scented pine cones that I picked up from Michaels. They not only complete the look but also leave the room smelling amazing!
3. Coffee Table Vignette
Next up, my coffee table! I think coffee tables are just begging for some fall décor. But it can be tricky to get it just right. My advice is to start with your tallest item in the center, then work your way down in size, creating small groupings.
For example, I used two owls that are the same height, and to add visual interest, I placed them on top of some books—well, not real books, but faux storage boxes I found at Michaels.
I gave them a weathered look with some blue and white acrylic paint and wrapped them in twine for that old-world charm.
4. Rustic Table Centerpiece
Finally, let’s talk about my dining table centerpiece.
Nothing says fall like a rustic centerpiece, and I went all in with oversized blue and cream pumpkins, gourds, and candles, all placed inside a wine crate I found at a flea market last year.
If you don’t have one, check with your local liquor store—they might even give you one for free!
This year, I’m swooning over the color blue for fall décor, so when I found these gorgeous hydrangeas, I fell in love all over again.
Mixing old pieces with new ones, like the cream and gold dishes, adds a soft contrast to the rustic feel. The gold pumpkin is a cute little Dollar Tree find, and it’s one of my favorite additions to this setup.
I hope these fall vignettes gave you some inspiration to bring a little balance and beauty into your home this season. Thanks so much for watching, and I can’t wait to hear what you guys think!
