Cream, Gold & Burgundy Guest Bedroom Ideas For the Holidays
It’s time to get the guest room together for the holidays. I have a lot of guest bedroom ideas for the holidays so I tried them out–you’ll see the results at the end. Two of my kids are going to be here for the holidays so I’m getting things prepared. Here’s what I did.
1. Floral arrangement
I just decided to pull together a flower arrangement using some of my favorite flowers, like those gorgeous red and white orchids, that I already had on hand. I did not have to spend any money to make this.
2. Making the bed
The only thing that’s new in this room is the new king-size comforter I bought on sale at Burlington for $65.00. This bed is a queen-size but this will be fine. I like the extra hang on the bed instead of using dust ruffles. I size up my comforters. One side is faux fur and the other is sherpa lined. It’s so soft!
There was so much burgundy on the bed, I pulled out a cream comforter as an accent at the foot of the bed.
By the way, I had someone ask me how many times I change my sheets: every three to four days! I am very particular. I also make up my bed each and every day. It sets the tone for the day!
3. Switching things around
Here’s the end result of the guest bedroom decor! As you can see I switched things up and around. I put the cream comforter on and the burgundy comforter as the accent at the foot of the bed. This is my favorite room in the house! I love it even more than my primary bedroom suite. This room is so bright and warm, even on the coldest days.
Holiday guest bedroom ideas
Now that I have the guest room decorating ideas all done, I’m going to decorate the rest of the house for the holidays. What do you think of this burgundy, cream, and gold guest bedroom? Is it festive, warm, and welcoming? Let me know what you think in the comments.
